25 February: Creative Myths Podcast Recommendation
2/25/2020 This and That
Today my thoughts were on creativity and creative practice. Again I was listening to two episodes of Art For Your Ear.
The Art For Your Ear episode I want to share with you is #166 - Busting Creative Myths 2.0. And I’m linking it right here because you should go listen to it now. I also listened to #165 while working on the Minecraft mural in my son’s room. It is a long overdue, promised project that I told myself I would make progress on at least one day a week. Today I worked on it for only half of a day, so I’ll be back at it soon.
Today was a lot of this and that. Today I want you to listen to the conversation between Danielle Krysa & Andy J Pizza. Also, here is a quote from The Practice and Science of Drawing, by Harold Speed:
In this way [art] may be said to be a moral influence, as a larger mind is less likely to harbour small meannesses.
I'd love to hear what thoughts this quote or the podcast brings to mind for you.
